This has led him to engage with national and international contexts through installations, exhibitions, collaborations, and displays. His installations often reference poetry or theatrical drama, as if each installation were a true theatrical performance with its own coordinates and dynamics. Since 1984, he has participated as a mime artist in various operas at the Rossini Opera Festival. In 1986, he participated in the first Italian C.I.L.O. (Local Initiative Center for Employment) course, and a year later, with the other students, he founded the cooperative that would manage the center for the Municipality of Pesaro. In 1992, he was selected as an acting student at the Paolo Grassi Civic School of Dramatic Arts<\/a> in Milan, where he graduated in 1995. During his studies, he worked with directors Carlos Martin, Thierry Salmon, Fabio Battistini, and Silvio Soldini. In 1994, during Paolo Grassi’s final year, he and some students founded the A.I.D.A. Association, which, together with young inmates, ran a three-year theater course at the Beccaria juvenile prison in Milan. After his studies, in 1995, he collaborated with Colombian director Enrique Vargas for approximately three years, where he also explored stage design as a means of creative expression. In 1997, he was selected with a scholarship for the “advanced training course for professional actors” taught by Luca Ronconi at the Teatro Argentina in Rome. From 1997 to 2001, he worked with various directors, including Piero Maccarinelli, Enrique Vargas, Alfredo Arias, Mauro Avogadro, Valter Malosti, Nicolaj Karpov, and Luca Ronconi. It was precisely in the performances of Piero Maccarinelli and Enrique Vargas, where the directors created an alchemy between different arts on stage, that Davide Dall’Osso recognized a sense of belonging that would quickly lead him from acting to sculpture. In 2002, he was selected, along with a group of six sculptors from the Marche region, for the work “Elogio alla fuga,” which was exhibited in Piazza Olivieri in Pesaro. From 2003 to 2007, he also worked as a sculptor for set design. In 2007, Davide Dall’Osso<\/strong> met Maria Vittoria Gozio<\/strong><\/a>, who joined him in artistic direction, exhibition and event organization, marketing and social media strategy, and designing the Atelier’s creations. She began curating many of the artist’s exhibitions, significantly transforming his work. Together with his wife, Maria Vittoria, they founded Atelier Dall’Osso s.n.c.<\/a> in 2014 and moved from Milan to the province of Siena. In 2020, they moved to the town of Castelfiorentino (Florence), where their new atelier dedicated a significant space to green education and the circular economy. Finally, one of the artist’s most important factors is the use of 80% waste and recycled industrial polymers (polycarbonate and Plexiglas) in the creation of his works.
